Nitai Dasa is an accomplished lecturer, musician
and Bhajan Singer. He is familiar with many traditional vedic
instruments such as Harmonium, Mrdanga (two headed Drum), Flute
and Sitar.
College educated, Nitai joined ISKCON in 1981 in
Bombay developing sankirtan skills. Many years later he
relocated to the most holy of places Vrndavan India where
Krishna personally was present 5000 years ago. One of his main
services in Vrndavan was leading bhajans and performing kirtan
for Sri Sri Krishna Balaram the presiding Deities of our
Vrndavan temple.
Nitai Dasa is the head Pujari (priest) and
resident Pundit (preacher) of the Edmonton Temple.
He conducts regular lectures on the primary
Vedic texts both in the temple and at private homes.
He holds harmonium and bhajan (devotional songs)
classes every wednesday at 8:00 PM
He also conducts havans (fire sacrifices).
